Lawyers from both sides participated in the meeting
The parties, including the trading house "Kulikovsky" and blogger Aitilek Orozbekov, reached a peaceful resolution to the conflict, as reported by their legal representatives.
A recording of the meeting was posted on social media, during which the parties agreed on the terms of reconciliation. The complaint filed against Orozbekov was withdrawn.
It should be noted that last year a complaint was filed against the blogger. Orozbekov stated that he witnessed a situation where a client was served in a language other than the state language, after which he visited one of the stores to clarify the circumstances. However, the activist did not present the video that triggered the conflict.
As a result, he found himself under house arrest.
Aitilek Orozbekov became known for his "language patrols," during which he demands to be served in the Kyrgyz language. Recordings of his actions are published on his YouTube channel.
In November 2024, the blogger was detained on charges of publicly calling for the violent seizure of power. In January 2025, the Pervomaisky District Court of Bishkek found him guilty under part 2 of Article 327 of the Criminal Code of the Kyrgyz Republic and imposed a fine of 70,000 soms. Orozbekov did not admit his guilt.
