Roger Allers, one of the directors of the animated film 'The Lion King', has passed away
Roger Allers, one of the talented directors behind the creation of the famous animated film "The Lion King," has passed away at the age of 76, as reported by Variety magazine.

Allers was not only the director of "The Lion King," but also worked on iconic projects such as "Tron," "Oliver & Company," "The Little Mermaid," "Aladdin," and "Beauty and the Beast."

His career at Disney began with developing concepts for the pre-production of "Tron," which was released in 1982. He then worked as a storyboard artist on "Oliver & Company" and "The Little Mermaid," before becoming the story supervisor on "Beauty and the Beast" and co-director of "The Lion King."
