At the meeting of the Committee of the Jogorku Kenesh on agrarian policy, held on February 9, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Water Resources, Agriculture, and Food Processing Bakyt Torobaev presented a list of high-yield varieties:

- barley - "Sanya," "Omsk 100";
- sugar beet - Agama Smart, 5K635, Vakita Smart;
- watermelon - "Madrid," "Grind," "Jarr," Au producer, Mega red;
- melon - "Lukstar";
- cotton - Misslife, Torpedo, AGN 300, Valbom;
- corn - Misslife, Torpedo, AGN 300, Valbom;
- tomato - "Zenga," "Erkol," "Maximus," Rio Bravo;
- onion - "Sturon," "Shutgarten," Ne-Top-Moneta;
- bell pepper - "Kantatta," Red Marcorini, Kalt Borta, Wontar;
- carrot - Caroline;
- potato - Jolene, Vogue, "Columbia," "Inna";
- cabbage - "Pharaoh," "Omsk 9";
- beans - "Pharaoh," "Omsk 9".
The Minister highlighted record yield figures from last year:
- Jaiyl District - 120 tons of tomatoes;
- Leilek District - 113 tons of onions;
- Manas District - 120 tons of peppers;
- Kochkor District - 30-35 tons of potatoes.
"Diesel from the State Material Reserves Fund will be sold at a price of 75 soms. We do not anticipate any supply issues," he added.
