The Foreign Minister of Kyrgyzstan invited the UN Secretary-General to visit the Nomad Games and the SCO summit.

On February 23, as part of a high-level disarmament conference, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Kyrgyz Republic, Jeenbek Kulubaev, met with the UN Secretary-General António Guterres. The meeting discussed issues related to the state and future of cooperation between the parties.

The press service of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Kyrgyzstan reported that during the conversation, the important role of the UN in promoting peace and addressing global challenges was confirmed. The parties expressed their readiness for further constructive interaction.

Attention was also given to the "UN-80" initiative aimed at improving the efficiency of the organization's work. Kulubaev expressed support for the reforms and readiness to cooperate in their implementation. Active interaction with UN agencies in Kyrgyzstan was emphasized.

In addition, the minister announced plans to hold the SCO summit and the VI World Nomad Games in 2026, as well as preparations for the "Bishkek+25" summit in 2027. In this regard, he invited the UN Secretary-General to visit Kyrgyzstan to participate in these events.
