



Yesterday, the mayor of Bishkek, Aybek Junushaliev, held a meeting with the president of the "Dordoi" Association, Askar Salymbekov, as reported by the city hall.
During the dialogue, initiatives for improving the infrastructure at the "Dordoi" market were discussed.
The city leader noted: "We fully support business and have done everything necessary. But this does not mean that development should happen without planning. It is important to create comfortable conditions for both sellers and residents."
As part of the infrastructure improvement program for "Dordoi," the construction of multi-level parking lots is planned, as well as the landscaping of the area, including fencing the lake and creating a walking zone.
Additionally, the mayor instructed to return the parking zones to the city's balance and implement a payment system via QR codes.
According to the president of the "Dordoi" Association, Askar Salymbekov, road construction work on the market's territory will begin on April 1, 2026, according to an official statement.Following the meeting, Mayor Aybek Junushaliev instructed the Sverdlovsk District Administration, the Municipal Property Management, and the Land Use Control Department to complete all preparatory work, including the dismantling of obstructive structures.
