In the Jalal-Abad region, six new police facilities have been put into operation.

As part of the infrastructure renewal of law enforcement agencies for the Nowruz holiday, the opening of six new buildings for rural police stations (RPS) was carried out with the participation of President Sadyr Japarov, who joined the event via video conference.

The following buildings were opened:

- Urban police station (UPS) in Kok-Jangak, Suzak district.

- Rural police station (RPS) in the rural district of Barpy, Suzak district.

- Rural police station in the rural district of Uch-Terek, Toktogul district.

- Rural police station in the village of Toluk, Toktogul district.

- Rural police station in the village of Ken-Sai, Nooken district.

- Rural police station in the village of Ak-Tash, Chatkal district.

Local authorities and the head of the Department of Internal Affairs Mukhtarbek Toktogulov attended the event in the Suzak district. He stated that the funding for the construction of the facilities was provided from the republican budget and began in July of last year at the initiative of the Ministry of Internal Affairs. "Previously, these units did not have permanent buildings. Now the staff is provided with modern conditions. One of the main advantages of the new police station is the presence of a three-room service apartment with amenities, where the district inspector already lives with his family," noted Mukhtarbek Toktogulov.

The police chief emphasized that creating comfortable working conditions will significantly simplify the tasks of the staff and will be an important step in crime prevention.

The main celebrations for Nowruz with the participation of the president took place in Naryn, where the updated building of the Department of Internal Affairs was also opened, along with 26 new territorial police units across the country.
