In the Jalal-Abad region, specialists from the relay protection and automation service of the JSC "NESC" — Jalal-Abad Electric Networks Enterprise plan to install 104 devices, including 78 microprocessor terminals of the "Altey" brand and 26 arc protection devices "LAIM". According to the Jalal-Abad PES, this equipment will significantly enhance the efficiency of substation operations.
Key features of the "Altey" terminal include:
— fast and accurate execution of relay protection operations (in case of short circuits, overloads, etc.);
— instant disconnection of equipment and signal transmission in emergency situations;
— real-time monitoring of parameters (current, voltage, frequency);
— registration and archiving of emergency events;
— remote control (integration with SCADA system);
— user-friendly interface with display and menu;
— high reliability;
— combination of multiple protective functions in one device.
Thus, the "Altey" terminal represents an advanced digital solution that provides intelligent protection and management of electrical systems.
The installation of new devices is planned at the following substations:
- 220/110/10 kV "Kristall" SHGES – 2 units;
- 110/35/6 kV "Tash-Kumyr" – 22 units;
- 110/35/6 kV "Shamaldi-Say" – 18 units;
- 110/35/10 kV "Kabyilbekova" – 9 units;
- 110/10 kV "Ak-Korgon" – 8 units;
- 110/35/6 kV "Izbaskent" – 8 units;
- 110/6 kV "Kainy" – 5 units;
- 110/35/6 kV "Yug" – 3 units;
- 110/10 kV "Bek-Abad" – 2 units;
- 110/10 kV "Myrzajan" – 2 units;
- 110/10 kV "Jiyde" – 1 unit;
- 110/35/10 kV "Bazar-Korgon" – 1 unit;
- 110/35/10 kV "Suzak" – 1 unit;
- 35/10 kV "Renzhit" – 5 units;
- 35/10 kV "Satymkulov" – 4 units;
- 35/10 kV "Besh-Badam" – 4 units;
- 35/6 kV "Klyuchevaya" – 2 units;
- 35/10 kV "Kara-Unkur" – 1 unit;

“With the increase in electricity consumption during the autumn-winter period, the load on transformers increases, which can lead to emergency situations. Currently, some relay protection and automation devices for transformers are outdated and do not meet modern standards.
To reduce such risks, the installation of new microprocessor terminals will be carried out along with the commissioning of new transformers. This equipment will ensure reliable protection of transformers and safe operation,” the press release states.
In addition, according to the approved business plan for 2026, technical maintenance of 634 sets of relay protection and automation devices is planned in accordance with the schedule.
The work is expected to be completed in November of this year, with funding provided from the own resources of JSC "NESC".
