On April 4, a road traffic accident occurred in Batken, resulting in serious injuries to a conscript soldier. This was reported by the State Border Service of the Kyrgyz Republic.

According to their report, a group of border guards from the Leylek detachment was heading to their place of service in a service vehicle of the "UAZ-Pickup" brand on the route Ak-Suu – Razakov.

The incident occurred around 08:30 when Private N.D.N., born in 2004 and drafted into service in the autumn of 2025, fell out of the vehicle's cargo area. The preliminary version indicates that the cause of the fall was severe jolting on the mountain road, which led to the soldier losing consciousness.

Immediately after the incident, an ambulance crew was called to the scene. The private received first aid, after which he was urgently hospitalized in the intensive care unit of the Leylek District Hospital. On the same day, a specialized team of doctors from Osh was sent to him, who performed emergency surgery.

At present, Private N.D.N.'s condition is assessed as stable but serious, and he is receiving full medical support. Government agencies are ready to transport him to Bishkek, but this is only possible after his condition is fully stabilized, as stated in the official message.

As part of the cooperation with the Ministry of Health, an experienced neurosurgeon has been sent to the Leylek District Hospital for further treatment and consultations.

In addition, an operational group has been created under the leadership of the Deputy Chairman of the State Border Service, which, together with the competent authorities, is conducting an internal investigation to clarify all the details and causes of the incident. The situation is under full control.
