Dastanbek Nurmanbetov won bronze at the Open Masters Games

At the Open Masters Games-2026, held in the United Arab Emirates, athlete Dastanbek Nurmanbetov from Kyrgyzstan won a bronze medal.

According to information from the State Agency for Sports, Nurmanbetov competed in the category for participants over 30 years old.

In the first round, he achieved victory over an opponent from Jordan, but in the second round, he suffered a defeat against an athlete from Uzbekistan.

Nevertheless, in the third round, he managed to win against a competitor from Kazakhstan, which allowed him to secure the bronze award.

It is also worth noting that Islam Bayalinov took first place, winning a gold medal in the weight category up to 73 kg.

In archery, Asel Sharbekova managed to win both a silver and a bronze medal.
