The Kyrgyzstan Championship in Ice Climbing Took Place in the Ala-Archa Gorge

On March 7, an open championship of Kyrgyzstan in ice climbing took place at the Ak-Sai waterfall in the Ala-Archa gorge, dedicated to the 45th anniversary of the mountaineering section "SKIF-Polytech."

The event was organized by the Federation of Mountaineering and Sport Climbing, as well as the Directorate for Non-Olympic Sports.

More than 40 athletes participated in the competition, including representatives from various clubs and sections of Kyrgyzstan, as well as participants from neighboring countries such as Russia and Kazakhstan.

The competitions were held on specially prepared ice routes created on the natural terrain of the Ak-Sai waterfall.
