The competition, titled "Pearl of the Adriatic," started on March 4 in Budva and gathered participants no older than 19 years.
Kanybekov competed in the under 50 kg category, which had 7 participants registered.
After the draw, the Kyrgyz athlete began his journey in the semifinals, where he faced a boxer from Kazakhstan.
Although Kanybekov lost with a score of 0:5, he still earned a bronze medal, finishing in third place.
