Taichabarov submitted his self-nomination application on October 27. On November 6, a document verification was conducted, during which the working group concluded that he does not meet the requirements established by law for candidates.
According to a report from the Main Department for Combating Organized Crime of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Kyrgyz Republic dated November 5, 2025, during the interrogation, Taichabarov confirmed his identity in the photograph taken at Blonder Pub. In the picture, he was captured with Kamchy Asanbek, known as Kamchy Kolbaev.

The report states that Taichabarov had close ties with Kolbaev and was registered as a person "associated with an organized criminal group."
At the CEC meeting, Taichabarov explained that the photograph was taken during his work as the head of the Bishkek SEZ. He approached Kolbaev because representatives of one of the factories complained about extortion. Taichabarov claims that the photo was taken at Kolbaev's initiative.
According to part 11 of Article 61 of the Constitutional Law of the Kyrgyz Republic "On Elections," if a candidate is or has been registered as associated with an organized criminal group, this is grounds for denying registration.
Taichabarov intends to challenge the Central Election Commission's decision in court.
It has now become known that the CEC has denied registration to 34 candidates for various reasons.
The registration of candidates continues until November 10, after which the campaigning will begin. The elections are scheduled for November 30.
