Judicial Experts from Kyrgyzstan and Japan Aim to Strengthen Cooperation

As part of the implementation of the Cooperation Program between the Ministries of Justice of Kyrgyzstan and Japan, a delegation from Japan visited the forensic expert service. The delegation included Professor (Prosecutor) Oku Daiki, representing the International Cooperation Department of the Research Institute for Legal Issues, and Chief Expert Takahashi Shogo.

The purpose of the visit was to prepare the "Second Joint Study of the Legal Systems of Japan and the Kyrgyz Republic" and to discuss further cooperation in the field of forensic expertise.

During the meeting, emphasis was placed on the exchange of experience, the introduction of modern technologies, and the improvement of specialists' qualifications in this field.

Talantbek Kozhonov, the head of the Forensic Expert Service, noted the importance of expanding international cooperation as one of the key areas of the Service's work.

In response, Oku Daiki expressed the Japanese side's readiness to begin joint research and develop practical projects in several priority areas.

After the official part of the visit, the delegation familiarized themselves with the activities of various departments of the Forensic Expert Service, which provided an opportunity to see the diversity of research and expertise being conducted.
