
On Yasenevaya Street in Moscow, an explosion occurred, resulting in the death of Lieutenant General Fanil Sarvarov, who headed the Operational Training Department of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Russia. This was reported by the Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation.
As part of the investigation, various versions are being examined, including one suggesting possible involvement of Ukrainian special services in this crime.
The investigation established that the explosive device was hidden under the vehicle's chassis. According to information from the Telegram channel Shot, the preliminary cause of the explosion was a homemade device that detonated a few seconds after the Kia Sorento vehicle started moving. According to Baza, the car managed to travel only a few meters, and the explosion debris damaged at least seven neighboring vehicles.
