Film actor. Member of the Communist Party of the Soviet Union since 1968. Born on January 1, 1932, in the village of Janay-Aryk, Jumgal district, Naryn region, in the family of a civil servant. He became an orphan at an early age and lived with relatives until he reached school age. From 1941 to 1950, he was raised in an orphanage in the village of Chayek, where he completed ten grades. In 1951, he entered the acting faculty of the Tashkent Theater and Art Institute named after A. N. Ostrovsky.

From 1955 to 1972, B. Omuraliyev worked in the troupe of the Kyrgyz State Academic Drama Theater. During this time, he played over 30 roles, including the Fool ("King Lear" by W. Shakespeare), Molchalin ("Woe from Wit" by A. Griboedov), Suvankul ("Mother's Field" by Ch. Aitmatov), Jumabay ("Face to Face" by Ch. Aitmatov), Toktogul ("Dream of the Akyn" by R. Shukurbekov), Chagyr ("Kurmanbek" by K. Jantošev), Jumа ("Kanybek," K. Jantošev), and others.

From 1973 to 1975, he studied at the Higher Literary Courses at the Literary Institute named after A. M. Gorky. Since 1976, he has been the chairman of the dramaturgy section of the Union of Writers of Kyrgyzstan. Since March 1980, he has been the secretary of the Union of Writers of Kyrgyzstan.

As a playwright, B. Omuraliyev began to perform in 1962. His plays "A Father's Word is Honor" and "Unforgettable Days" were recognized at republican competitions and staged at the Kyrgyz Academic Drama Theater.

The play "I Know, the Mountains Know" was included in the repertoire of the Russian Drama Theater named after N. K. Krupskaya and the Naryn Musical Drama Theater named after M. Ryskulov in 1975. The dramas "Echo," "Village," and "The Bridge of Jolchubek" were also staged in the 1970s in the theaters of Naryn and Osh. They were published at different times in the magazine "Ala-Too," and in 1979, they were released in a collection of plays by the publishing house "Kyrgyzstan." The well-known writer is credited with about ten one-act plays that have been successfully performed on the stages of the national theaters of the republic.

While working in the theater, B. Omuraliyev also began acting in films. He created the images of a herdman, Chernyaviy, Bakhtiyar, Asek, and a policeman in the films "Legend of the Ice Heart" (1957) by E. Shengelaya and A. Sakharov, "Far in the Mountains" (1958) by A. Karpov, "Toktogul" (1959) by V. Nemolyaev, "The Girl of Tien-Shan" (1961) by A. Ochkina, and "Street of Cosmonauts" (1963) by M. Roshal. The last significant role of B. Omuraliyev was as the miner Akmat in "Kanybek" (1978) by G. Bazarov.

B. Omuraliyev dubbed Neklyudov in "Resurrection" into Kyrgyz, Shurik in "The Caucasian Captive," and translated from Russian the films "Kotovskiy," "A Soldier Came from the Front," "Haiduks," "The Seventh Bullet," and others.
