The Ministry of Natural Resources conducted scientific research for the protection of the chukar and pheasant in the Kyzyl-Suu gorge.

On March 4, the Ministry of Natural Resources conducted a working trip to the Kyzyl-Suu gorge, located in the Taarilgan-Koktu area, near the village of On Bir-Zhilga in the Chui region.

According to the information from the department's press service, scientific and sanitary-biotechnical activities were carried out during this trip aimed at protecting the chukar and pheasant. In the course of scientific parasitological research, sanitary removal of these bird species was conducted.

The event was attended by A. Davletbakov, an employee of the National Academy of Sciences of the Kyrgyz Republic, a gamekeeper from the Tokmok inter-district hunters' society, as well as representatives of civil organizations.

“All actions were conducted on a scientific basis with the aim of analyzing the epizootic situation among wild animals and preventing the spread of infectious diseases,” the message notes.

T. Salikov, head of the Chui regional department, shared the results of the department's work for 2025, highlighting key achievements and priority tasks for 2026.

U. Jamynchiev, head of the department of specially protected natural areas and biodiversity, spoke about the biotechnical activities carried out under environmental legislation to prevent epizootics among wild animals and birds.
