According to information provided by the supervisory authority, from 2019 to 2024, employees of the Jumgal forestry organized competitions for land leasing, but during these events, fake protocols were drawn up.
As a result of such actions, 49 citizens received land plots with a total area of 104.19 hectares for a period of 49 years, as reported in a statement by the General Prosecutor's Office.
“Officials abused their official position, acting in personal interests or for the benefit of third parties. As a result of the inspection, a criminal case has been initiated under Article 346 of the Criminal Code (‘Service Forgery’),” the prosecutor's office stated.
Currently, investigative activities are ongoing.
