In the village of Kara-Jyghach, it was established that a number of organizations were discharging wastewater into the soil without prior treatment, causing environmental damage amounting to over 7 million soms, according to the General Prosecutor's Office of the Kyrgyz Republic.

An inspection conducted by the Prosecutor's Office of the Alamudun district revealed that the enterprises OsOO "S", "AKP", "JKD", and "AP", engaged in the production of sand and gravel mixtures, were discharging contaminated water onto the land during the washing process without using any filters or treatment systems. This led to a deterioration of the environmental condition.

According to the Regional Department of the Ministry of Natural Resources, Ecology, and Technical Supervision for Bishkek and the Alamudun district, the ecological damage from the discharge of wastewater amounted to 7.1 million soms.

Based on these facts, the Prosecutor's Office initiated a criminal case under Article 298 of the Criminal Code of the Kyrgyz Republic, concerning violations of environmental standards during the execution of works.

Currently, investigative actions are ongoing in the case.
