At the meeting of the committee of the Jogorku Kenesh dedicated to agricultural policy, water resources, and ecology, Deputy Minister of Natural Resources, Ecology, and Technical Supervision Asel Raimkulova announced impressive results of the Ministry of Natural Resources' work for 2025 on March 9.

Raimkulova noted that the plan for environmental pollution fees was 487 million 190 thousand soms, while in the reporting year, 973 million 350 thousand soms were actually collected, which is 199.8% of the planned amount.

She also pointed out that previously these funds were directed to the republican budget. However, starting from June 2025, the fees began to be deposited into a special account of the Ministry of Natural Resources, which allowed for a significant strengthening of the material and technical base of the agency.

Among the projects financed with these funds are the construction of administrative buildings in Bishkek, Cholpon-Ata, and Talas, as well as a rehabilitation center in the Issyk-Kul State Reserve.

To ensure the effective operation of the ministry's territorial divisions and reserves, 38 service vehicles and 4 motorboats were purchased.

In addition, modern drones, camera traps, video recorders, professional binoculars, GPS devices, gas analyzers, and instruments for measuring smoke emissions were acquired to improve environmental monitoring.

The Deputy Minister assured that the work on strengthening the material and technical base of the ministry will continue.
