The most dangerous sections are located on the following routes:
Bishkek — Osh:
121–138 km (Töö-Ashuu Pass),
198–255 km (Ala-Bel Pass, Chychkan Gorge);
Ala-Buka — Kanysh-Kiya:
68–74 km, 88–95 km;
Krasnaya Gorka — Ak-Tash:
0–2 km;
Bishkek — Naryn — Torugart:
292–305 km (Dolon Pass);
Balıkchy — Kazarman — Jalal-Abad:
201–205 km, 260–290 km, and 326–349 km (Kök-Art Pass).
Drivers are strongly advised to exercise increased caution when passing through areas prone to avalanches. It is also recommended to maintain a distance of at least 500 meters between vehicles.
