At the conference in Bishkek, Kainarbek Kuluyev, a representative of the NGO "International Association of Builders," noted that inspections of residential construction in Kyrgyzstan are conducted selectively.

Since the beginning of the current year, more than 2,000 administrative protocols for violations in the construction sector have been drawn up in the country.

He cited the example of a "bottleneck" in the city center, where violations were recorded only after the visit of high-ranking officials, despite numerous complaints from residents.

Kuluyev emphasized that there is no systematic approach to inspections in the country. Moreover, he added that inspections often delay construction processes.

According to him, there are problems with control and inspections, but in reality, construction companies incur losses. This creates corruption risks due to the lack of transparency in procedures and the absence of clear rules, leading to subjectivity in the decisions of responsible officials.
