Authorities reported that the most significant price increase in Kyrgyzstan occurred in 2025.

According to data provided by the National Statistical Committee, consumer prices and tariffs in Kyrgyzstan increased by 9.4% during 2025 compared to December 2024.

Among the goods that significantly rose in price were fruits, fish, vegetable oil, potatoes, meat, vegetables, butter, dairy products, as well as flour and sugar.

The highest price increase was noted in Osh, where the price index rose by 11.6%, which is mainly related to the increase in non-food goods by 12% and the rise in tariffs for services to the population by 13.5%.

Chuy region recorded the maximum growth in prices for food and non-alcoholic beverages at 13.1%, while Issyk-Kul region noted an increase in prices for alcoholic beverages and tobacco products by 14.4%.
