The IT sector of Kyrgyzstan has brought about 40 billion soms to the economy over 12 years

The information was presented at a meeting of the Jogorku Kenesh committee dedicated to the High-Tech Park.



Over the course of 12 years, the IT sector of Kyrgyzstan has contributed approximately 40 billion soms to the country's economy. This data was announced on January 26, 2026, at a meeting of the Jogorku Kenesh Committee on Science, Education, and Information Technologies, as well as Culture, Sports, and Youth Affairs, during the discussion of the High-Tech Park's activities.


According to the information, in the first three quarters of 2025, the residents of the High-Tech Park reported a turnover of 11.4 billion soms, and preliminary estimates suggest that this figure could rise to 16 billion soms by the end of the year. About 3,000 specialists are employed in this sector.


It was also noted that since the establishment of the High-Tech Park, the country's budget has received 1.1 billion soms in tax revenues, with the majority of these payments occurring between 2022 and 2025.


Representatives of the High-Tech Park management emphasized that no funds from the republican budget were used in the creation of the High-Tech Park, and the development of the sector occurred with minimal costs from the state.
