Kasymaliev noted that in the reporting year, the ministry managed to achieve substantial economic growth and financial stability.
“Compared to 2020, the country's budget has increased almost fivefold, amounting to about 247.8 billion soms, which ultimately reached around 1 trillion 101 billion soms,” he specified.
He also pointed out that with the increase in revenues, expenditures are also rising, which allows for the implementation of large-scale construction projects, including roads and affordable housing.
“Our budget, which was previously focused on social needs, has now become a development budget,” added the head of the cabinet.
At the end of the meeting, he gave a number of instructions to the Ministry of Finance, including issues related to increasing salaries for social sector workers and the effective use of budget funds in the public procurement system.
