The Ministry of Finance has summarized the results for the year 2025.

At the meeting of the Ministry of Finance's board, where the results of the department's work for 2025 were discussed, the Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers Adylbek Kasymaliev was present.

He noted that the Ministry of Finance is finishing the year with significant results, and the country's economy is demonstrating stable growth. Kasymaliev emphasized that by 2025, the budget of Kyrgyzstan has increased nearly five times compared to 2020.

"In 2020, the consolidated budget was about 247.8 billion soms, and by 2025 it reached approximately 1 trillion 101 billion soms," he reported.

Kasymaliev highlighted revenues from Kumtor as one of the main factors of economic growth after the enterprise was transferred to state management. From 2021 to 2025, approximately 5 billion 115 million US dollars (over 400 billion soms) were generated from its activities. About 1 billion 176 million US dollars (approximately 100.6 billion soms) were directed to the budget in the form of taxes and other payments, as well as around 441 million US dollars (approximately 38.2 billion soms) in the form of dividends.

He also noted that additional factors contributing to the budget increase include:

– GDP growth from 8.3 billion dollars in 2020 to more than 22.6 billion dollars in 2025;

– improvement in tax administration, which led to an increase in GNS revenues from 78 billion to 304.3 billion soms;

– a sixfold increase in customs revenues — from 28.9 billion to 157.4 billion soms;

– an eight to nine times increase in non-tax revenues, reaching 189.4 billion soms;

– an increase in economic activity in the services sector, the volume of which exceeded 1 trillion soms.
