The akim noted that several projects aimed at expanding rural areas and building a new town are actively underway in the region. Recently, a delegation visited the Chinese city of Kashgar to discuss the details of the construction. "We negotiated with the Chinese company that will carry out the construction and got acquainted with their work. We also discussed the projects for future residential buildings and facilities that are planned to be built in Kyzyl-Suu," he reported.
It should be noted that the implementation of this project will be handled by a Chinese development company that has been operating in the international market since 2012 and possesses modern experience in modular construction.
During the discussions, key aspects of the project were highlighted:
- creation of the "city within a city" concept;
- construction of residential buildings using modern modular technologies;
- formation of a complete social and commercial infrastructure;
- erection of a modular construction plant on a 5-hectare site.
The total area of the new town will be 15 hectares, and an additional site for the plant is also planned.
The parties discussed the preliminary timelines for the project:
- 2026 — design and launch of the plant;
- 2027 — start of construction of residential facilities;
- 2028 — completion of infrastructure development.
Moreover, according to the akim, livestock breeding is actively being developed in the district, particularly considering the possibility of importing one of the most expensive sheep breeds in the world — "Dulan."
