The Cabinet of Ministers of Kyrgyzstan has extended the zero VAT rate on feed for fish farms until the end of 2027. This decision was approved by the head of the government, Adylbek Kasymaliev, and formalized in the form of amendments to the resolution "On measures to ensure food security and stabilize market prices."

The main goal of this step is to support local producers.

According to the new document, the tax will not be levied on feed that producers supply directly to fish farming enterprises.

The government believes that such measures will help reduce costs for industry workers, increase the volume of domestic production, and ensure stable prices for fish.
