According to data from the analytical agency "Autostat," Kyrgyzstan has taken the leading position among the EAEU countries in the import of new passenger cars to Russia.

Belarus is in second place, having supplied 17.1 thousand cars, while Kazakhstan rounds out the top three with 11 thousand passenger cars. During this period, Armenia was only able to supply 344 new cars.

As for used cars, Kyrgyzstan is also in second place with 2.8 thousand vehicles, followed by Armenia (1.5 thousand) and Kazakhstan (1.1 thousand).

An important point is that the Ministry of Industry and Trade of the Russian Federation has proposed to revise the methodology for calculating the recycling fee on cars imported into Russia by individuals from EAEU countries. The agency points to cases of undervaluation of customs value and the use of schemes to reduce tax payments. The proposed changes are aimed at creating transparent conditions for import and proper payment of all fees.
