Every Saturday, an agro-market takes place at the Turdakun Usubaliyev Square, where local sellers, in addition to trading, actively participate in charity. On weekdays, they deliver fresh products to shelters like "Kolomto" and other social institutions in the city. These visits have become not just a supply of goods, but a good tradition, where they are greeted with joy and smiles. Participants in such actions note: "We ourselves become kinder" when they see the happiness on the faces of the shelter residents.
This initiative coincided with the Day of Spontaneous Acts of Kindness, as well as the approaching holy month of Ramadan, which will begin on February 19. Psychologists communicating with VB.KG assert that acts of generosity significantly increase happiness levels. And this does not depend on material status: even a simple candy given to a passerby can bring joy.
Scientific studies confirm that kind deeds have a positive impact on health. They help reduce stress levels and decrease inflammatory processes in the body. Scientists from China found that helping others can lessen physical pain. Researchers from Tel Aviv University also discovered that kind people are perceived by others as more attractive.
Moreover, kindness serves as an excellent workout for the heart. Positive emotions contribute to normalizing blood pressure and strengthening the heart muscle, while negative emotions, such as anger, can harm health. Thus, farmers from Bishkek, by sharing their harvest with those in need, not only help others but also care for their own well-being. They demonstrate that in our time, true values remain humanity and genuine smiles.
