According to the Joint Stock Company "National Company 'Kazakhstan Temir Zholy'", grain exports from Kazakhstan to Kyrgyzstan have increased by 1.7 times.

Experts report that from September 2025 to February 19, 2026, 6.4 million tons of new crop grain were sent to foreign markets, which is 19.7% more compared to the same period last marketing year, when the volume of supplies was 5.4 million tons.

The main reason for the growth has been active trade relations with traditional markets in Central Asia and beyond.

Notably, supplies to Uzbekistan increased by 46%, from 2 million tons to 3 million tons. In Kyrgyzstan, exports rose from 104 thousand tons to 180 thousand tons, which is a growth of 1.7 times. Supplies to Afghanistan increased by 1.9 times, from 236 thousand tons to 466 thousand tons.

Experts emphasize that the positive trend in exports confirms the high demand for Kazakh grain and the competitiveness of domestic products in international markets.
