The Cabinet of Ministers of Kyrgyzstan has decided to impose a temporary ban on the export of mineral fertilizers outside the countries of the Eurasian Economic Union. This restriction will come into effect in five days and will remain in force for six months.

The ban covers all types of mineral fertilizers, except for those that were previously imported from third countries and found to be non-compliant with quality standards. Exceptions are also provided for humanitarian supplies organized by government decision.

The Ministry of Economy and Commerce must notify the World Trade Organization and the Eurasian Economic Commission about the introduction of this ban within three days. Additionally, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs will send a similar notification to the Executive Committee of the CIS.

The previous resolution, adopted on March 3, 2025, is considered to be null and void.
