According to the new decree, the export of the following materials will be prohibited for the next six months:
- used catalysts;
- slags, ashes, and other waste containing metals that can be recycled;
- residues of palladium, rhodium, and platinum generated during the processing of catalysts;
- elements of the exhaust system, including mufflers and pipes containing catalysts.
The Ministry of Economy and Commerce, as well as the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, must notify the WTO, the Eurasian Economic Commission, and the Executive Committee of the CIS about the introduction of this ban within three days.
It should be noted that the previous decree regarding a similar ban was adopted on September 8, 2025, and has now lost its validity.
The new decree is set to come into effect in seven days.
