Currently, the country has more than 92 thousand units of agricultural machinery, including over 22 thousand tractors and about 2 thousand grain harvesters. Almost 18 thousand tractors are fully ready for operation, as well as a significant number of plows, seeders, and harrows. In total, more than 8 thousand tillage and over 3 thousand seeding units will be involved in the sowing campaign, providing farmers with about 71% of the necessary equipment.
To address the shortage of machines, the government is actively renewing the machinery and tractor fleet through preferential leasing programs with an interest rate of 6% per annum. Since 2011, with the support of the Cabinet of Ministers, more than 10.5 thousand units of equipment worth 29 billion soms have been transferred to farmers through "Aiyl Bank" and "Eldik Bank." The pace of equipment renewal is increasing: since the beginning of 2026, farmers have already received 854 machines worth a total of 584 million soms, and by the end of the year, the transfer of more than 2 thousand units worth 7 billion soms is planned. Additional support is provided by 186 machine-tractor stations (MTS), which have over 4 thousand units of equipment.
According to the latest inventory, there is a stable annual growth in the number of agricultural machines in the republic, which has been made possible both by government subsidies and through direct purchases. According to customs and tax authorities, over the past year, more than 8 thousand units of various agricultural machinery have been imported into the country. The agency emphasizes that timely repairs and the development of leasing mechanisms remain crucial factors for the successful conduct of the sowing campaign in 2026.
