The Russian Federation and the People's Republic of China are considering the possibility of forming a joint working group focused on exchanging experiences in regulating unmanned transport. This idea was announced by the press service of the Russian government following the visit of Transport Minister Andrey Nikitin to Beijing.
During his trip, Nikitin held meetings with Chinese Transport Minister Liu Wei, during which both sides noted that Russia and China occupy leading positions in the world in the development and implementation of autonomous driving technologies. The establishment of a bilateral group will allow the countries to effectively exchange best practices in regulatory regulation, which, in turn, will facilitate the faster integration of unmanned transport into the transport systems of both countries.
