Negotiations between Edil Baysalov, Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers of Kyrgyzstan, and Lin Wu, Secretary of the Party Committee of the Communist Party of China in Shandong Province, took place in Jinan.
During the meeting, the parties confirmed the high level of strategic partnership between Kyrgyzstan and China, discussing ways to develop interregional cooperation. They noted the importance of establishing closer ties between the regions of Kyrgyzstan and Shandong Province.
Edil Baysalov emphasized the need to activate practical cooperation, including the establishment of new production capacities in Kyrgyzstan, which will support small and medium-sized businesses.
“In the last five years, Kyrgyzstan has demonstrated high rates of socio-economic growth, opening new horizons for development. Currently, the government of the country is tasked with the mass implementation of modern technologies, the creation of export-oriented production, and providing jobs for the youth. In this regard, new state programs are being developed, and we are focused on cooperation with the PRC,” noted Edil Baysalov.
Lin Wu confirmed readiness to assist in expanding investment ties, launching new initiatives in the industry, and activating humanitarian exchanges between the countries.
As a result of the meeting, the parties outlined further steps to strengthen cooperation and agreed to continue joint work on the agreements already reached. The delegation of Kyrgyzstan also familiarized itself with the work of leading machine engineering enterprises in the province during its visit.
