Markets and stores are showing a situation that does not correspond to official reports, negatively affecting the financial condition of citizens.
Recently, a meeting was held in the Cabinet of Ministers of Kyrgyzstan, where current inflation issues in the country were discussed. The event was attended by heads of relevant ministries, agencies, and representatives of the National Bank, as reported by the government apparatus.
Daniyar Amangeldiev, the First Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet, emphasized the need for strict control over inflationary processes.
He noted: "Our task is to minimize the impact of external factors on the domestic market, especially concerning essential goods."
Government agencies were instructed to urgently develop measures to ensure price stability and increase the share of local products in the market.
It is worth noting that citizens of Kyrgyzstan continuously report rising prices for food products and services, as well as increases in utility tariffs.
In turn, the government is taking steps to regulate inflationary processes. Measures have been introduced for state price control on meat, agricultural fairs are being organized, and the import and export of certain goods, including chicken eggs and livestock, is being restricted.
