At the Manzherok ski resort, located in the Altai Republic, employees of the company "Ala-Too Resort" are undergoing training.
This training is organized as part of the preparation of personnel for the new year-round resort, which promises to become one of the most significant tourist projects in Central Asia.
During the training, which is already the second in a series, snowcat operators learn to operate special equipment and master the technologies for preparing ski slopes. Specialists get practical experience with snowcats — tracked vehicles designed to create high-quality snow cover.
Company representatives noted that, despite the presence of ski resorts in Kyrgyzstan, previously, mainly small-sized equipment was used for slope preparation.
The "Ala-Too Resort" project is the first in the country where modern snowcat technology will be implemented, similar to that used at leading global resorts.
The cooperation between "Ala-Too Resort" and the Manzherok resort began under an agreement reached in 2025. In October of last year, the first theoretical training for snowcat operators took place, and the current stage of training includes practical work on ski slopes.
The knowledge and skills acquired during the training will be used for preparing the slopes of the new "Ala-Too Resort," which will ensure a high level of safety and quality of the ski infrastructure.
