The Ministry of Water Resources, Agriculture, and Processing Industry of the Kyrgyz Republic has announced the launch of a pilot project aimed at developing a meat cluster. The project envisions the formation of a modern production cycle in Bishkek and the Chui region, covering all stages—from fattening cattle to processing and selling finished products.
The main objective of this initiative is to create a unified system that brings together farmers, logistics, and trading platforms. During the meeting, participants were presented with the conditions for participating in the project, as well as opportunities to scale up their businesses.
To support entrepreneurs, preferential lending has been provided. The total funding for the implementation of the project will amount to 1.5 billion soms, which will be provided through state banks: "Aiyl Bank" and "Eldik Bank".
Meeting participants discussed various ideas and proposals aimed at increasing the efficiency of the meat cluster's implementation. It is expected that this project will serve as a catalyst for increasing meat production volumes and improving product quality standards in both domestic and export markets.
