Currently, three teams from the Kurshab operational hydro section are engaged in major repairs of hydroposts on the channels C-1, C-1-2, and K-3, which receive water from Otuza-Adyr. One of the main features of the modernization is the installation of modern automated ultrasonic devices that allow real-time monitoring of water levels. This ensures high accuracy in accounting and prevents irrational use of water resources during the peak irrigation season.
In addition to the implementation of digital technologies, specialists from the department are actively carrying out restoration work on the internal agricultural channels "Osh KSB" and "Alay-ditch," which were recently transferred to the management's balance. Improving the condition of these facilities will positively impact the stability of water supply for farmers and agricultural producers in the southern region. Effective cleaning and repair of ditch networks will help reduce water losses during its transportation to the fields.
These activities are part of the nationwide plan for preparing for the 2026 irrigation season. The implementation of automated control systems and timely updates of irrigation infrastructure are aimed at effective water resource management and strengthening food security in the region under conditions of a dry climate.
