In the Ala-Buka district, active preparation of irrigation networks has begun as part of the spring fieldwork. These activities are organized by the district agricultural development management, which is subordinate to the Ministry of Water Resources, Agriculture, and Food Processing Industry.
Currently, the main focus is on the village of Ala-Buka, where a large-scale cleaning of the Kosh-Terek 1 canal is underway. Both mechanized and manual methods are being used to achieve maximum throughput.
The goal of these activities is to minimize water losses and create optimal conditions for ensuring stable irrigation of the land. Timely preparation of the canal will allow farmers to start spring sowing on time and ensure a continuous supply of irrigation water throughout the season.
