Active preparations for the spring season have begun in the country. The Ministry of Water Resources, Agriculture, and Processing Industry is focusing on ensuring a stable supply of irrigation water by organizing the cleaning of channels in all regions.
In the Southern hydro section of the Kara-Suu district in the Osh region, special equipment is already being used to conduct deep mechanical cleaning on the distribution channel "Eshme." These activities are aimed at increasing the channel's capacity and reducing water losses used by farmers.
Minister Bakyt Töröbaev has tasked water management services with completing all preventive work as quickly as possible. He emphasized that all irrigation networks must be fully prepared for operation before the start of the irrigation season.
Particular attention is being paid to monitoring the condition of hydraulic structures to avoid problems with the distribution of water resources, which arose last year during the active growing season.
