On November 21, 2025, the 4th meeting of the intergovernmental commission on trade and economic cooperation between Kyrgyzstan and Hungary took place in Budapest. This was reported by the Ministry of Economy and Commerce of the Kyrgyz Republic.
The meeting was chaired by the Minister of Economy and Commerce of the Kyrgyz Republic, Bakyt Sydykov, and the State Secretary for Bilateral Relations of the Hungarian Ministry of Foreign Economic Relations and Foreign Affairs, Boglarka Illesh.
This meeting served as a significant platform for discussing further steps in the development of bilateral relations and deepening practical cooperation between the two countries. Participants reviewed a wide range of issues, including trade, investment, agricultural and industrial cooperation, digitalization, air transport, energy, and humanitarian exchanges.
As a result of the meeting, a protocol of the session and a memorandum of understanding between the Ministry of Water Management, Agriculture, and Processing Industry of the Kyrgyz Republic and the Ministry of Agriculture of Hungary regarding veterinary control and veterinary medicine were signed.
