Kyrgyz citizens spent 564 million dollars abroad
According to the National Statistical Committee, in 2025, the tourism sector of Kyrgyzstan earned more than 1 billion dollars. Foreign tourists left 1 billion 98.5 million dollars in the country, which is 8.1% more than the previous year.
However, investments in this sector decreased: over 19 billion soms were invested in the construction and modernization of tourist infrastructure, which is 3.3% less than in 2024.
Restaurant and catering revenues amounted to 26.1 billion soms, showing a growth of 20.9% compared to the same period last year. Hotels earned 11.1 billion soms, while transportation expenses of foreign citizens reached 17.3 billion soms.
In turn, the expenses of Kyrgyz citizens for trips abroad (import of services) amounted to 564 million dollars.
