Authorities reported where and what is rising in price the fastest in Kyrgyzstan
According to information provided by Deputy Chairman of the National Statistics Committee Bakytbek Shokenov at a press conference in Bishkek, from January to October 2023, consumer prices and tariffs in the country increased by 7.1% compared to December of the previous year. In particular, there was a recorded increase in prices for food and non-alcoholic beverages by 7.4%, for alcoholic beverages and tobacco products by 6.7%, and for non-food goods by 5.6%.
