The agency reported that to address the identified violations and enhance state control, the prosecutor's office prepared a prosecutorial response act. Based on this, the government and other authorized bodies decided to transfer land plots with a total area of 335.6 hectares into the charter capital of the company, located in the Issyk-Kul and Batken regions.
According to the prosecutor's office, these plots were previously used in violation of the economic interests of the state. The value of these assets added to the charter capital amounted to 15 billion 225 million 916 thousand soms. This decision is expected to increase the state's share in the company's capital and boost dividend revenues to the republican budget.
In response to the prosecutor's statement, the press service of the State Enterprise "Airports of Kyrgyzstan" issued a statement emphasizing that the use of the mentioned lands was conducted in full compliance with the legislation and solely for the development of aviation infrastructure.
“Activities aimed at supporting and developing aviation operations, as well as preserving strategically important facilities for the country's transport system, were carried out in these areas,” the company noted.
The "Airports of Kyrgyzstan" also indicated that the temporary use of these lands is not an indicator of inefficiency, as issues regarding the management of state property fall within the competence of authorized bodies.
The company considers the government's decision to transfer the plots into the charter capital a logical and consistent step aimed at strengthening state participation, increasing the transparency of property relations, and enhancing state revenue from dividends.
“The State Enterprise 'Airports of Kyrgyzstan' is open to constructive cooperation with state and supervisory bodies to ensure the rational and lawful use of property in the interests of the state,” the company added.
