Schoolchildren in Kazakhstan are being switched to remote learning due to an increase in ARVI cases

According to clarifications, if more than 20% of children in a class are ill, the classroom system is canceled, which means that students stay in one classroom for all lessons. Moreover, if the percentage of sick students exceeds 30%, the class temporarily switches to distance learning.

The Ministry of Health also denied rumors of a new strain of influenza in the country. At a briefing held on November 19, representatives of the department assured that the identified viruses correspond to the vaccine strains of the current season.
