According to reports, 22-year-old Rerd was involved in a traffic accident on the At-Bashy—Torugart highway, which required immediate action. An emergency call was received regarding the serious condition of a foreign citizen, and a medical team from the At-Bashinsky district hospital quickly transported her to the surgical department.
Trauma surgeon Nurlan Ibraimov, who has 31 years of experience, described the critical situation the patient was in. “Upon arrival, she had severe facial injuries, broken ribs and shoulder, as well as a serious traumatic brain injury and open skull wounds. Her face was almost unrecognizable due to the extensive damage,” he noted.
The medical team, including resuscitation specialists and surgeons, immediately performed emergency surgeries to save Rerd's life, treating her facial wounds and stabilizing her condition.
Ibraimov also emphasized that the doctors from the At-Bashinsky hospital worked in collaboration with colleagues from the Naryn regional hospital and Bishkek. Based on the recommendations of trauma surgeons, neurosurgeons, and neurologists, it was decided to transfer the girl to the intensive care unit in Naryn. Two days after stabilizing her condition, her father arrived in Kyrgyzstan, and Rerd was sent for treatment in Dubai with his accompaniment and a translator.
According to Ibraimov, thanks to the efforts of the medical staff, she was able to start walking and talking. Rerd's relatives expressed their sincere gratitude to all the staff of the At-Bashinsky hospital for saving her life.
Four months after the accident, Rerd's relatives shared information about her current condition. The fractures of her ribs and the bones of her left arm have completely healed; however, due to serious damage to the brachial plexus, her left arm remains paralyzed. The neck muscles are also weakened, making it difficult for her to lift her head, especially when transitioning from a lying position to a vertical one.
Despite all the challenges, as her loved ones reported, Rerd Jaden Chloe does not lose hope, makes efforts for recovery every day, and continues treatment under the supervision of doctors.
