Nariman Tyuleev, the former mayor of Bishkek, shared that during the process of legalizing his tax obligations, he transferred about 300 million soms to the country's budget. This information was revealed in an interview he gave to journalist Mairash Bazlakunova on YouTube.
Tyuleev noted that under the current president Sadyr Japarov, entrepreneurs have received the opportunity to work legally and implement their ideas. He emphasized that the state has become more open to interaction with business and actively supports initiatives aimed at economic development.
“Everything was different in the past. Under Atambayev, strict restrictions were imposed on who could do business. After my release from prison, I did not pay taxes. With the arrival of the new government, all calculations were made, and I paid 300 million soms,” the former mayor added.
Furthermore, Tyuleev mentioned that for a long time under previous leadership, he did not have the opportunity to realize his ideas. He assures that only with the new government has the situation changed for the better.
He also mentioned that one of the projects currently being implemented was conceived during the presidency of Sooronbay Jeenbekov but was not completed due to the restrained position of the authorities.
