Former mayor shared his opinion on the construction of Old Bishkek
Active construction work is underway at the Old Bishkek site. This was stated by former mayor Nariman Tyuleev, commenting on the current progress in the center of Bishkek.
“The area is being actively improved. In the coming days, as well as in February, tree planting is planned. Patience is required. The entire project will be executed in a glass design. Such initiatives are found in only three or four countries. I have seen something similar in London and Kuwait. Kyrgyzstan can also enhance its status through such projects. I am confident that everything will go successfully,” Tyuleev noted.
It is worth adding that recently, Deputy Prime Minister and head of the State Committee for National Security Kamchybek Tashiev visited the construction site for an inspection on the instructions of President Sadyr Japarov. He gave instructions for the expansion of Chuy Avenue and the demolition of the third floor of the jewelry center.
