The Ministry of Health of Kyrgyzstan has announced the start of vaccination for citizens planning to perform Hajj in Mecca in 2026, with the aim of preventing the spread of infectious diseases and ensuring sanitary safety.
According to the new order from the Ministry of Health of the Kyrgyz Republic, vaccination against meningococcal infection, as well as vaccination against seasonal flu, is now mandatory for all pilgrims.
These measures comply with international standards of medical and sanitary safety and are necessary for admission to Hajj.
The vaccination process will take place in medical institutions across the country from December 23 to December 30, 2025, and all participants must undergo a mandatory medical examination before vaccination.
